The Arte nas Águas de Minas project, sponsored by Copasa, has announced the opening of public call Edital nº 048/2026 for its third phase, with a deadline for submissions set at 23:59 on September 20. A total of eight artists will be selected—two from each of the cities Patos de Minas, Varginha, Timóteo, and Pedro Leopoldo—to create 80 m² murals on Copasa water reservoirs, inspired by the theme 'a água', and to conduct a four-hour urban art workshop. Each selected artist will earn R$ 6,000, divided into R$ 4,000 for the mural and R$ 2,000 for the workshop. Applicants must be over 18 and reside in Sul de Minas Gerais; legal entities can apply if their representative meets residency criteria. A portfolio, CV, and proof of residence are required for application. Submissions will be assessed by curator Juliana Flores.
