Comité Colbert Brings 65 French Luxury Maisons to NYC's Shed

The French luxury association, Comité Colbert, has launched an exhibition titled 'Hidden Treasures, 250 Years of Franco-American Luxury Stories' at the Shed in Hudson Yards, New York City, which will be open until May 31. This showcase features 65 renowned French maisons, such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Jean Paul Gaultier, Hennessy, and Cartier. To represent the transatlantic relationship, the displays are arranged on shipping crates. Notable pieces include Boucheron's 1899 Belle Époque necklace with 621 diamonds, a Baccarat sun clock from 1948 gifted by Arthur Miller to Marilyn Monroe, and Cartier's replica of the lunar module made for the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, given to astronaut Michael Collins. The exhibition honors 250 years of Franco-American friendship, highlighting craftsmanship and cultural exchanges from the American Revolution to the present.
