Colasanti Casa d’Aste achieved €2.9 million in total revenue (including buyer’s premium) in the first half of 2026, a 15% increase from €2.5 million in the same period of 2025, despite holding fewer auctions (10 vs. 11). The sold-by-lot rate remained stable at 60–70%, while the sold-by-value rate reached 90%. The jewelry and watches sector led with €1.2 million in sales, up 15% year-on-year. The top lot was a Bulgari Tubogas Serpente vintage watch from the 1960s, sold on May 14 for €57,900 (estimate €10,000–15,000). Other highlights include Ippolito Caffi’s oil on canvas "Veduta del Foro con Campo Vaccino" (€45,360 on April 15) and Francesco Di Cocco’s "Il pentimento di Pietro" (€32,760 on March 19). International buyers accounted for 30% of total hammer value, with the United States leading, followed by Switzerland and France. The auction house expects a stable second half with selective demand for high-quality, documented works.
