Clustered Rocks Court and Floating Leaf Pavilion by Atelier Z+

Atelier Z+ has completed two pavilions, Clustered Rocks Court and Floating Leaf Pavilion, on the north and south sides of the Huang Lou Bridge spanning the Huangrigang River near Dishui Lake in Shanghai. Completed in 2023, the structures serve as food and beverage facilities to support growing tourism and leisure activities around the lake, while also functioning as public hubs. Clustered Rocks Court covers a site area of 3,557 m² with a gross floor area of 1,339 m², and Floating Leaf Pavilion occupies 1,730 m² with 800 m² gross floor area. Lead architect ZHANG Bin headed the design team, with landscape consultant Shanghai Zhixiu Architectural Planning and Design Co., Ltd and structure consultant Shanghai Mozheng Architectural Design Co., Ltd. The project was commissioned by Shanghai Harbour City Development (Group) Co., Ltd.
