Club GAMeC Prize 10th Edition Opens at GAMeC
The tenth edition of the Club GAMeC Prize, now dedicated to the memory of President Giuseppe Casarotto, will be inaugurated on Saturday, June 13 at 5:00 PM at GAMeC in Bergamo. The exhibition, titled "Alfabeti del possibile" and curated by Giacomo Pigliapoco, engages with Paulo Freire's thought and the "Pedagogy of Hope" program. It features works by Alice Visentin, Isabella Costabile, Leonardo Devito, and Margherita Raso, each developing a unique alphabet: Visentin explores oral narration, Costabile works with industrial waste and relational assembly, Devito focuses on dream imagery and adolescence, and Raso investigates the fragility of a marginalized body. On June 13, a jury chaired by GAMeC Director Lorenzo Giusti will select the winning project, announced at 6:00 PM. The winning work will be acquired by Club GAMeC and enter the collection of the Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Bergamo. The exhibition runs until September 6, 2026.
