Clerestory Garden Mixed-Use Building Opens Near Ikebukuro Park

Adjacent to Naka-Ikebukuro Park, a new mixed-use structure featuring both commercial spaces and residences has been finalized, located just two minutes from the East Exit of Ikebukuro Station. Completed in 2025, this project, designed by KEY OPERATION INC. / ARCHITECTS and curated by Miwa Negoro, covers an area of 469 m². It seeks to blend seamlessly with the 'Hareza Ikebukuro' facility, which debuted in 2019, and the upgraded Naka-Ikebukuro Park. The park's renovation transformed it from sandy terrain into a stone-paved plaza reminiscent of a European square, enhancing cultural activities. The building's façade design reflects the theme of unity with this plaza. Watanabe Construction Co., Ltd. served as the contractor, while Comodo Facilities Planning handled the facilities and Delta Structural Consultants managed structural engineering.
