Clarke & Reilly's In/Form Exhibition at Dover Street Market Paris
Clarke & Reilly, a creative studio established by Bridget Dwyer and David Grocott, is showcasing 'In/Form' at Dover Street Market Paris from September 10-13. This exhibition investigates textiles as representations of time and continuity, utilizing materials sourced globally and reinterpreted on both bodies and furniture. In partnership with Katie Shillingford, fashion director of AnOther magazine, and photographer Ben Toms, the exhibition features styled fabric arrangements on the body, which are then mirrored on furniture like four-poster beds and chairs. A striking 28-foot red canvas wall adorned with fragmented text from interviews by AnOther editor-in-chief Susannah Frankel, taken from her 2001 book 'Visionaries,' acts as a backdrop. Over three years, Frankel's quotes shaped the project's conceptual foundation. Dwyer and Grocott describe their work as 'material intervention,' focusing on preservation and reuse. The exhibition will subsequently move to their gallery, Tank50.54, in Arezzo, Italy.
