Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects Completes 120 m² Timber Ski Retreat in Sweden's Dalarna Mountains
Claesson Koivisto Rune Architects has completed Refugio Van Peborgh, a 120 m² contemporary wooden cabin in the Swedish mountains, finished in 2024. The project, curated by Nina Vuga, was commissioned as a winter ski retreat that would also function across all other seasons. The design team comprised principal architects Mårten Claesson, Eero Koivisto, Ola Rune, and Oliver Cap. General contractor was 3-visjon AS. Photographs were taken by Åke E:son Lindman. Suppliers and brands used in the project included Mosa, Ballingslöv, Nikari, Smaller Objects, and Wästberg. The project falls under the category of residential architecture and houses.
