Cinque alla Prima: Video and Performance Art in Treviglio

Area Treviglio presents the fourth edition of 'Cinque alla Prima – Videoarte e Performance', a group show curated by Matteo Scabeni. The exhibition explores how emerging artists engage with video and performance through hybrid practices. Five artists were selected by a commission including Yuri Ancarani, Claudia Ciaccio, Attilia Fattori Franchini, and Elisabetta Modena. The featured artists are Francesco Bendini (b. 1996), Lorenzo Benzoni (b. 1997), Giacomo De Luca (b. 1999), Federica Mariani (b. 2000), and Emma Scarafiotti (b. 1996). The show is conceived as a liquid, complex structure that mirrors the artists' hybrid practices, emphasizing collective representation. Inside the grey cube, paradoxes, rituals, euphoria, and drama overlap through objects, videos, installations, dances, gestures, actions, and sounds. The exhibition runs from June 3 to July 10, 2026.
