Cindy Bernhard's 'Broken Vessels' at PLATO Gallery

PLATO gallery in Chicago presents 'Broken Vessels,' a solo exhibition by local artist Cindy Bernhard. The show features a new series of monumental six-foot paintings exploring spiritual rupture, transcendence, and the body's relationship to the divine. Using the metaphor of the vessel, Bernhard's works incorporate gold, Christian mysticism, and contemporary existential anxiety, depicting fractured golden forms as symbols of wounded yet transformative humanity. The public opening is Thursday, June 4, from 6 to 8 PM, and the exhibition runs through July 11.
