Christopher Schwarz Exhibits Black Cherry Stick Chairs at No Coast Furniture Salone in Cincinnati

Christopher Schwarz is presenting two black cherry stick chairs at the No Coast Furniture Salone, which runs from Friday, April 17 through Sunday, May 3. The exhibition takes place at 1800 Race Street in Cincinnati, Ohio. Schwarz's chairs are based on the 18th-century Bebb chair from Wales, a significant influence in his design language. Both pieces will be available for purchase at what he describes as a friendly Cincinnati price. If unsold, they will later be offered on his blog. The show opens on April 17 from 6 to 10 p.m., featuring beverages from Northern Row Brewery. Schwarz plans to attend the opening with colleagues from Lost Art Press. He finds such exhibitions both humbling and inspiring, valuing them as opportunities to assess technical skills and aesthetic judgment.
