Christie's wine auction to fund restoration of Abbey of Cîteaux
Christie's will host a charity wine auction from 4 to 19 September to raise funds for the restoration of the Définitoire of the Abbey of Cîteaux, a 17th-century building. The auction features over 120 estates from the Côte-d'Or, offering magnums, jeroboams, methuselahs, salmanazars (9 liters), and cases with verticals. The sale culminates in a charity dinner at the Château du Clos de Vougeot on 19 September. Proceeds go to the Fondation du patrimoine, in association with the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin.
