Christie's Geneva Auction to Feature Quincy Jones' Personal Watch Collection

Christie's will conduct a live auction of rare watches on May 11 at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva, featuring items from the estate of Quincy Jones. The sale includes three significant pieces being offered publicly for the first time. Among them is a Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3700/1JA, produced and sold in 1981, which Jones owned for 43 years. Another lot is a gold and colored diamond pendant gifted to Jones by Bono for his 80th birthday. The third item is a Girard Perregaux timepiece presented to Jones by Andrea Bocelli in recognition of his lifelong commitment to global charitable work. The auction coincides with notable career milestones for Jones in 1981, including a Grammy nomination for Producer of the Year and a win for Best Instrumental Arrangement, as well as his involvement in producing Michael Jackson's album Thriller, released the following year.
