Chris Morin-Eitner's Nature-Focused Photography at Galerie Nature Forte
Galerie Nature Forte, opened in March 2023 by photographer Jonk, presents an exhibition of Chris Morin-Eitner from June 11. The architect and travel photographer questions humanity's ecological impact. His series "Il était une fois demain" (Once Upon a Time Tomorrow) has traveled worldwide and appeared on Beaux-Arts Magazine's cover in April 2016. Morin-Eitner photographs all elements (monuments, plants, animals, clouds) and composes digital collages of imaginary metropolises reclaimed by nature. For the first time, he shows two new series, "Le Silence des Lianes" and "Paisibles Racines," where he hand-enhances prints for a more plastic approach. The gallery, founded by Jonk, promotes artists highlighting nature's strength. Jonk's series "Naturalia: Chronique des Ruines Contemporaines" explores humanity's place on Earth. The opening reception is June 11 at 6 PM with the artist present.
