The piece features a rare 20.66-carat Sri Lankan sapphire and incorporates the maison's signature motifs: the lion, camellia, star, and sun. The necklace, which took 1,800 hours of craftsmanship, is set in 18-karat white and rose gold and includes five diamond cuts: triangle, oval, round, baguette, and emerald. The design reflects Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel's 1932 vision for jewelry to be as flexible as her clothing, with a supple diamond fringe that moves with the wearer. The motifs are deeply personal, stemming from Coco's childhood and her Zodiac sign, Leo, which have become iconic symbols of the brand.
