CGZ Architecture Designs School with Rampart-Inspired Terraces in Porto-Vecchio
CGZ Architecture has completed a school and covered playground in Porto-Vecchio, Corsica, in 2025. The 116 m² project, photographed by Thibault Savary, is located at the foot of the town's historic rampart. The design features two terraces structured by a wall that connects different levels while adapting to the slope, echoing the rampart's form and materiality. The school aims to extend the dialogue between history and landscape, serving as a place for passing on heritage.
