Cee Cee Creative Turns Berlin Shipping Container Into All-Green Oatly Matcha Pop-Up

architecture-design · 2026-09-16

Cee Cee Creative, based in Berlin, has reimagined a grey container into a vibrant retail environment for Oatly Oatdrink Matcha with their Monochrome by Oatly pop-up. This temporary store, located at THE SPACE Kudamm, Kurfürstendamm 229, 10719 Berlin, Germany, opened its doors for five days in late August 2023, with a project timeline set for 2026. The design incorporated a selection of green hues for the walls, furniture, and products, prominently displaying the brand name on the exterior and featuring a totem inside. Customers could enjoy a drinks counter, a changing area, and browse merchandise, including a vintage car filled with Oatly Matcha cartons. The space was crafted for social media appeal, showcasing a convex mirror and a wall adorned with stacked cartons, utilizing shipping containers as key materials.
