CCE House by ONA: An Introverted Refuge in Mendoza's Vineyard Landscape

ONA - Oficina Nómada de Arquitectura, led by Nicolás Guerra, has designed the CCE House in Chacras de Coria, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina. The 170 m² single-story residence, completed in 2026, is conceived as an introverted refuge that engages with its semi-urban context of low-rise housing, vineyards, and poplars through containment and controlled openness. The project was curated by Valentina Díaz, with a lead team including Franco Sandes, Juliana Catalani, and Diana Barrera. General construction was handled by Florencia Vassallo and NESTIA Arquitectura, while civil engineering was provided by Javier Edgardo Cicchinelli and ARCCUM. Photographs by Luis Abba document the house, which sits in the foothills of Greater Mendoza, a region defined by its cultural landscape of vineyards and poplars.
