Castello di Rivoli Rethinks Its Collection as a Living Organism for Autumn 2026

exhibition · 2026-03-21

The Castello di Rivoli Museo d'Arte Contemporanea has revealed its program for autumn 2026, highlighting its permanent collection as an evolving asset. Central to this season is the third edition of Inserzioni, curated by Francesco Manacorda, which will present new works from Haris Epaminonda, Christelle Oyiri, and Sung Tieu beginning September 25. Epaminonda delves into identity through architecture, while Tieu investigates collective memory, and Oyiri reflects on the Pyramid of Memphis. Additionally, a reinstallation of the Arte povera collection will feature pieces by Alighiero Boetti and others, alongside a dedicated space for Carol Rama starting in October. The educational initiative Il Castello Incantato will engage youth and pay tribute to Remo Salvadori. From September 24, the museum will showcase the Premio Piero Siena 2026 winners, with Bernardi's piece becoming part of the permanent collection.
