Casalgrande Padana Launches Saxum Porcelain Tile Collection with Five Colorways

architecture-design · 2026-04-24

Casalgrande Padana, an Italian tile producer, has introduced the Saxum collection, a line of porcelain tiles designed to resemble natural stone. This collection comes in five colors: Antracite, Beige, Bianco, Grigio, and Perla. Saxum tiles exhibit natural imperfections, random veining, and earthy tones, making them ideal for various applications, including floors, walls, showers, and swimming pools, both indoors and outdoors. They are precisely squared and rectified, with an optional thicker anti-slip variant. Installation can be done using glue on screed or dry-laid on sand, with sizes ranging from 30 x 30 cm to 120 x 120 cm. The tiles are durable against thermal shock, frost, wear, and warping, easy to maintain, recyclable, fire-resistant, and non-allergenic. Additionally, a Bios Ceramics treatment is available for self-cleaning and antibacterial features.
