Casa Trilogy by Waechter Architecture Reinterprets Portland Typology

Waechter Architecture has completed Casa Trilogy, a residential project in Portland, United States, in 2024. The 4,450 square-foot house reinterprets the traditional Portland typology, creating a private refuge that engages with the street while reconnecting with nature through carefully oriented living spaces. The project was led by Ben Waechter and Rand Pinson, with design support from Emily Kappes, Amy Su, and Quinten McElvain. Interior design was provided by Heirloom Modern, landscape architecture by Lillyvilla Gardens, and structural engineering by Grummel Engineering. The house is documented in photographs by Pablo Enriquez. The project was curated by Susanna Moreira and published on ArchDaily in Spanish. The design emphasizes a dialogue between the private interior and the public street, while integrating natural elements through spatial orientation.
