Casa T-237: UNO MÁS UNO Arquitectos Designs 120 m² Home in General Alvear

Casa T-237, a 120 m² residence in General Alvear, was designed by UNO MÁS UNO Arquitectos, with Celeste Gomez Lahoz and Nahuel Salcedo as lead architects. The project, slated for completion in 2026, is curated by Valentina Díaz and photographed by Luis Abba. The house is a single rectangular volume, 5.50 meters wide and 18 meters long, placed on the southern edge of the lot and oriented toward a northern patio that organizes its relationship with the exterior. The domestic program—kitchen, dining area, living room, two bedrooms, and one bathroom—is arranged in a sequence of contiguous spaces, all open to the north. This layout ensures constant interaction between interior rooms and the patio, enhancing natural light and visual continuity while reducing formal complexity to a domestic-scale, longitudinally configured piece. The design responds to essential dwelling conditions through an elemental programmatic organization and a deliberate exploration of the expressive and spatial possibilities of the material.
