Casa Rouxinol in São Paulo: A Sustainable Design by Sergio Sampaio Archi + Tectônica

Casa Rouxinol, designed by Sergio Sampaio Archi + Tectônica, is a residential project planned for a 2,000-square-meter plot in the Vale do Paraíba region of São Paulo, Brazil. The site presents significant challenges: a 50-meter elevation change and the presence of over 300 cataloged trees. The architects prioritized minimizing environmental impact, which shaped the design from the overall layout to material specifications. The house will offer views of the Jaguari River reservoir. The project area is 440 square meters, and the completion year is 2026. The design is curated by Susanna Moreira, with photography by Manuel Sá.
