Casa Pedra Azul by Escala Arquitetura: A Topography-Driven Residential Design

Casa Pedra Azul, a residential project by Brazilian firm Escala Arquitetura, has been published on ArchDaily. The house, completed in 2025, is located on a narrow sloping site, with the topography playing a crucial role in its architectural layout. The design consists of independent modules connected by generous circulation areas, promoting horizontality and a fragmented volume that adapts to the terrain. The project covers 1,300 square meters and was curated by Susanna Moreira. The principal architects are Carolina Escada and Patricia Landau, with coordination by Bruno Hermida, and technical and project teams including Simone Rodrigues and Isabela Rodrigues.
