Casa Ocean by Biazus Arquitetura: A Beach House of Horizontal Planes

Casa Ocean, a residential project by Brazilian firm Biazus Arquitetura, has been completed in 2025. The 500-square-meter house is designed for a family to spend extended periods at the beach and host many friends on weekends. The architecture emphasizes horizontal planes to create shade, comfort, and presence. The living area features an integrated layout with a double-height ceiling and a level difference between environments, using natural materials such as stone and wood. The project was coordinated by Giovana Milan and Michele Santos, with Yasmin Kannen on the project team. The principal architect is Arq. Marcos Biazus. Structural, electrical, and installation engineering was provided by Videl Engenharia. The supplier was Zampieron Pedras. Photographs were taken by Cristiano Bauce.
