Casa Miralago Residence Blends Architecture with Natural Landscape in Paraguay

Casa Miralago, developed by Grupo Culata Jovái, is nestled between the Yvytypanema mountain range and Ypacarai lake in Paraguay. The architectural design thoughtfully incorporates the site's topography, hydrology, and tree layout, creating a harmonious relationship with the surrounding landscape. Located in a preserved forest close to Asunción, the residence prioritizes privacy while fostering a connection to nature. Exterior terraces are designed around existing trees, manage rainwater, and expand living spaces. During construction, a second floor was introduced using locally sourced materials. The bathrooms include an interior garden and an evapotranspiration chamber for wastewater management. Large openings provide scenic views, merging the kitchen and living area into a shared environment, showcasing sustainable architecture that enhances the natural beauty of the site.
