Paulo Moreira Architectures has completed the rehabilitation of a residential building in central Porto, transforming it into five apartments of varying typologies. The project, named Casa Miragaia, covers 335 square meters and was finished in 2022. Each unit features privileged city views through large windows or a rooftop terrace. Despite having only one open facade, all apartments receive direct sunlight and include a private outdoor space, balancing comfort and privacy. The design team included Hermínio Santos and Giacomo Valzania, with civil engineering by Armanda Santos and Fátima Leal. General construction was handled by Comporto, landscaping by Arqueoges, and additional engineering consultancy by Daniel Castro.
