Casa JF by AAA_Azevedo Agência de Arquitetura Completed in Cruzeiro de Santo Antônio

Completed in 2025 in Cruzeiro de Santo Antônio, Casa JF is a 300 m² residential project by AAA_Azevedo Agência de Arquitetura. The house is arranged around a central courtyard containing leisure and gathering elements, including a swimming pool and a flat garden, with three volumes opening onto it: living area, kitchen, and bedrooms. A steep site with a seven-meter difference between its lowest and highest points allowed these functions to be distributed across three levels — access and parking, living area and kitchen, and bedrooms. The stepped placement of the volumes along the site produces privileged views from every room, and the bedroom volume functions as a lookout. Rodrigo Azevedo served as principal architect, with Pedro Maia on the project team and Rafael Balbi as coordinator. Structural engineering was by Geraldo Fillizola, installations by Equipping, and lighting by JLG Lighting. Photographs are by André Miguel Coronha. The project was curated by Susanna Moreira and submitted by the project team.
