Casa Jardim Renovation by Baixo Impacto Arquitetura in Florianópolis

Baixo Impacto Arquitetura completed the renovation of Casa Jardim in Florianópolis, Brazil, in 2025. The 237 m² project, led by architect Carolina Rodrigues Dal Soglio with Ana Flávia Boni Colle, prioritized preservation over demolition, treating the existing structure as the most sustainable option. The intervention reorganized interior spaces, maximized natural light, and strengthened the connection between inhabitants, the Atlantic Forest, and the original architecture. The project team included technical support from Fabiana Amaral, general construction by Sérgio Pinho, and civil engineering by Broto Engenharia. Photographs were taken by Maria Fernanda Serra Illa.
