Casa Glade: Ming Architects' Layered Facade House in Singapore
Ming Architects has completed Casa Glade, a 900-square-meter residence in central Singapore. The house features a layered facade that shields family life from the public street while maintaining a strong connection to its surroundings. Designed to remain cool and ventilated in the tropical climate, the project was led by principal architect Tan Cher Ming with design team member Erica Chan. The general contractor was Huat Builders, with landscape architecture by Main Green, structural engineering by CGM Engineering Consultants, MEP engineering by HPX Consulting Engineers, and quantity surveying by WS Surveyorship. The home includes Miele appliances and was photographed by Studio Periphery. The project was completed in 2024.
