Casa FPW by Obra Arquitetos: A House Integrated with Its Sloped Topography

Casa FPW, a residential project by Brazilian firm Obra Arquitetos, is designed to harmonize with the steep slope of its original topography. The house, covering 429 square meters, is organized so that from the street, one can see the rooftops and a clear view of the surrounding landscape, as the living spaces are situated at a lower level than the road. A central staircase axis structures access to the different levels of the home. The project is led by principal architect João Paulo Daolio, with a team including Kawani Yuri Nishimura, Rafael Gambale, and Vitor Berge Sato. The structural engineering is by Trine Engenharia, lighting by Satori iluminação, installations by Aplic Engenharia, and landscaping by Panorama Paisagismo. The project is slated for completion in 2026 and is documented by photographer Nelson Kon. The project was curated by Susanna Moreira and is categorized under residential architecture and houses.
