Casa FG by Oficina Conceito Arquitetura Turns Porto Alegre Slope Into a Contemporary Urban Retreat

Casa FG, a residence spanning 572 m² in Porto Alegre's Vila Assunção district, is set for completion in 2026 by Oficina Conceito Arquitetura. The design cleverly incorporates a 5-metre elevation change to enhance views of the Guaíba. Previously, the location was home to a country quinta, and the project maintains a unique relationship with its urban surroundings. Amenities consist of social spaces, bedrooms, a swimming pool, a terrace, and an events room. Tiago Scherer Fritzen led the architectural team, which included Maurício Ambrosi Rissinger and others. Landscaping was handled by Loro Arquitetura e Paisagismo, with photography by Marcelo Donadussi. Susanna Moreira curates the project for ArchDaily, with suppliers like Acervo Furniture and Alupex involved.
