Casa Fátima: MARMOLBRAVO Reinterprets 1970s Pozuelo de Alarcón Home
MARMOLBRAVO has completed Casa Fátima, a 300 m² project in Pozuelo de Alarcón that reworks a paired house originally built in the 1970s. Rather than demolishing and replacing the structure, the intervention reinterprets it, exposing latent architectural qualities already present in the existing building and adjusting them to contemporary ways of living. The design team was led by Marina del Mármol and Mauro Bravo, with Blanca Mas on the design team and Esther González handling technical work. Valentina Díaz curated the project presentation. Photography is by Elena Almagro, and the project lists Technal, Baumit and Torinco among its suppliers. The architecture project is dated 2026 and falls under the houses category. The scheme's central premise is adaptation over substitution: the original dwelling is retained as the basis for the new configuration.
