Casa Estudio F36 by Estudio Tecalli in San Cristóbal Tepontla

architecture-design · 2026-06-24

Estudio Tecalli has completed Casa Estudio F36, a 74 m² house and studio in San Cristóbal Tepontla, near San Pedro Cholula in Puebla, Mexico. The project, led by architect Roberto Martínez with technical support from Berenice León and general construction by Manuel Miñon, is the firm's second intervention in an area defined by brick production—one of the region's most important centers. The landscape features traditional kilns and extensive clay drying areas. The site sits between the natural landmark Cerro Zapotecas, popular for hiking and cycling, and the rapidly growing Zerezotla area driven by real estate speculation. Curated by Valentina Díaz and photographed by Amy Bello, the project was completed in 2025.
