Casa DR by ARC Architects Opens to Gardens and Mountains in Tashkent
Casa DR, a residential project by ARC Architects, is located on the northeastern periphery of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The 697 m² house, completed in 2025, sits between two contrasting environments: a canal with gardens on one side and a low-density residential neighborhood (mahalla) on the other. The design team, led by Anastasia Pyagay, Bekzod Mukhammadboev, and Bobir Klichev, positioned the house to open toward the gardens, while upper floors offer views of the surrounding landscape and, on clear days, the distant mountains. The interior design team included Bobir Klichev, Farrukh Shadmanov, Muazzam Karimova, and Mardon Rajabiy. The project was curated by Miwa Negoro and published on ArchDaily. The house is accessible from two streets, integrating the natural and urban contexts.
