Casa Crepúsculo: A Nature-Centered Family Home by Spacefiction Studio

Spacefiction Studio has completed Casa Crepúsculo, a 7,000-square-foot residence designed for a family seeking to relocate the patriarch and matriarch from their ancestral home. The project, curated by Miwa Negoro, is slated for completion in 2026 and is documented by photographer Vivek Eadara. The design prioritizes a nature-centric approach, accommodating the growing family with additional rooms for children and grandchildren during visits. Principal architects Baba Sashank, Naresh Nallapuneni, and Vindhya Guduru led the project, with illustration by Rohith Akula and Varnika Rao. Structural engineering was provided by Simon Peter Consultants, while Metalco Engineering & Fabrication handled other engineering and consulting. Landscape architecture was undertaken by RRR Landscapes. The project addresses the emotional challenge of moving elderly parents from a long-standing home, acknowledging their deep attachment to their environment and habits. The new house aims to provide comfort and continuity while embracing a forward-looking design that integrates natural elements.
