architecture-design · 2026-09-03

TETRO Arquitetura, a Brazilian firm, has completed Casa Adentro, a residential project in Lagoa Santa near Belo Horizonte, set to open in 2024. This house occupies a 5,000 m² plot filled with native plants. One of the main challenges was to meet a detailed design brief while preserving as many trees as possible. The project was led by Carlos Maia, Débora Mendes, Igor Macedo, and Humberto Hermeto, with contributions from designers like Guilherme Castro and others. Spanning 1,370 m², Luisa Lage captured its essence through photography. M Gomes Engenharia took charge of construction and engineering, while Raiz da Terra managed the landscaping. It was highlighted by Susanna Moreira on ArchDaily in Spanish for its eco-friendly design.
