Caroline Irvin and Samson Mesghena's Art-Inspired Upper East Side Wedding

Caroline Irvin, a designer, and investor Samson Mesghena tied the knot in New York City in November 2024, after first crossing paths at an Equinox gym in Flatiron back in December 2019. Samson proposed on a sailboat in the Hudson River, right by the Statue of Liberty. Their wedding weekend kicked off with a rehearsal dinner at Le Bernardin, where Caroline dazzled in an Oscar de la Renta gown. The ceremony was held at St. James Episcopal Church, led by Reverend Marisa Fuentes. Caroline’s stunning dress, crafted with the help of One/Of's Patricia Voto, took cues from Degas and featured a beautiful blush lace bodice and a voluminous tulle skirt. Meanwhile, Samson opted for a sleek Tom Ford tuxedo with Ethiopian gold cufflinks. The Rainbow Room hosted their reception, complete with Ethiopian jazz and a late-night after-party at Célon Lounge, featuring DJ Beat Breaker. Their first dance was to Sam Cooke's "Nothing Can Change This Love." The wedding, coordinated by Jung Lee and Fête, also paid homage to their families. The following morning, they chartered a boat on the Hudson for a fun outing with their loved ones.
