Campo di Riflessione: bocal's Third Exhibition Opens in Rome with Seven Artists

Key facts

• Campo di Riflessione is the third exhibition at bocal, the non-profit space of the Pii Stabilimenti di Francia in Rome and Loreto.
• The exhibition runs from 8 October 2026 to 7 January 2027 at bocal, via Santa Giovanna d'Arco 4, Rome.
• It is curated by Isabella Vitale, artistic director of bocal, and Bianca Miki Zelli.
• The seven participating artists are Gabriele Agrimonti, Sveva Angeletti, Cristiano Carotti, Fabio Giorgi Alberti, Keanu Lebon, Thomas Moësl, and Alice Paltrinieri.
• The show takes its starting point from Jean-Michel Othoniel's La Croce per la Cappella Contarelli, inaugurated on 21 September in the Contarelli Chapel of San Luigi dei Francesi.
• Othoniel's site-specific work is made of Murano glass beads and an obsidian base, functioning as a kaleidoscope that reflects Caravaggio's paintings.
• Thomas Moësl and Gabriele Agrimonti's contribution stems from an April 2026 improvised concert at San Luigi dei Francesi, promoted by the Pii Stabilimenti di Francia for the Fête de la Musique.
• Gabriele Agrimonti is the titular organist of the historic J. Merklin organ at San Luigi dei Francesi.
