Camille Provost Brings Interactive Puzzle Sculptures to Acne Paper's Palais Royal Space During Art Basel Paris
Camille Provost's latest exhibition, titled Le Masque et Le Vertige (Swear That You'll Play), is on display from 22 October to 20 December at Acne Paper's venue in Palais Royal, Paris, aligning with Art Basel Paris. Attendees can interact with wooden and ceramic sculptures that resemble puzzles. Born in Côte d'Ivoire in 2000, Provost experienced life in various countries due to civil conflict, returning to Côte d'Ivoire for her high school education in 2019. She later pursued archaeology and art history at the Sorbonne in France. Provost began her sculpting journey in her grandfather's workshop, applied to the Royal College of Art during the pandemic, and relocated to London in 2023. Her inaugural exhibition occurred in January after a residency at Project Loop, focusing on 'future archaeology' and migration.
