Cai Guo-Qiang’s Gunpowder Spectacle at Mont Saint-Michel
A captivating solo exhibition titled "Radiance of Spring" by renowned Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang is currently showcased at Mont Saint-Michel, Normandy. This installation is part of the sixth Normandie Impressionniste Festival, which will take place from May 29 to September 27, 2026, commemorating 100 years since Claude Monet's passing with the theme "A Possible Garden." Cai launched the festival with a spectacular fireworks display along the Seine, drawing approximately 15,000 attendees and incorporating 1,000 drones to recreate Monet-inspired imagery.
