Cabin Sande by Helen & Hard Architects: A Coastal Retreat in Randaberg

Helen & Hard, a Norwegian architectural firm, has finalized Cabin Sande, a residential project spanning 112 square meters in Randaberg, Norway, aimed at harmonizing with the Atlantic coastline. The location boasts an expansive ocean view, rugged landscape, and indigenous flora. The project was spearheaded by principal architects Reinhard Kropf and Siv Helene Stangeland, alongside team members Njål Undheim and Håvard Auklend, with structural engineering provided by Aanesland Treindustri. Finished in 2025, the cabin's documentation was carried out by photographers Sindre Ellingsen and Ivar Kvaal, curated by Nina Vuga, and featured on ArchDaily in Spanish. The design showcases a commitment to blending with the coastal setting, mirroring a growing trend in Scandinavian architecture focused on site-specific integration.
