CAAM Gran Canaria Opens Call for 2026 Artist Residencies

The Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno (CAAM) in Gran Canaria has announced its Artist Residency program for 2026, which will provide two artists with the opportunity to work on projects for three weeks and showcase their work. One position is designated for an artist from the Canary Islands, while the other is for an artist from mainland Spain. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess five years of artistic experience, and have resided legally in Spain for the six months preceding the application. The residency runs from October 1 to 29, 2026, with an exhibition scheduled from October 30, 2026, to January 31, 2027. Applications must be submitted by September 7, 2026. Selected artists will receive 2,400 euros and may access up to 1,500 euros for materials.
