C.S.I. Reunite in Alba After 26 Years for 'In Viaggio' Tour Concert
On 8 September 2026, the Italian band C.S.I. (Consorzio Suonatori Indipendenti) came together for the first time in 26 years, delivering a two-and-a-half-hour performance at Piazza Medford in Alba, Cuneo. The event, coordinated by Comune di Alba, Centro Studi 'Beppe Fenoglio', Portami Via Festival, and ANPI Alba-Bra, included an opening act by Lostatobrado. Giovanni Lindo Ferretti recited excerpts from Beppe Fenoglio's Il partigiano Johnny. The concert featured a mix of covers and original songs, with the crowd passionately chanting 'Ora e sempre Resistenza.' The reunion was revealed on 22 January 2026, after a series of events and exhibitions. C.S.I., which emerged from CCCP in 1992, released three studio albums before their breakup in the late 1990s. Ferretti's connections to Giorgia Meloni and Matteo Salvini added a layer of complexity to the Resistance chant.
