C.P. Company and Alessi launch collaborative collection reimagining Italian design heritage at Milan Design Week 2026

C.P. Company and Alessi will unveil their collaborative collection 'Alessi - C.P. Company' during Milan Design Week, running from April 20-25, 2026. The partnership merges C.P. Company's garment-dyed sportswear with Alessi's archival homeware, featuring reimagined objects like Richard Sapper's 9090 espresso maker, Jean Nouvel's cups and saucers, and Enzo Mari's Arran tray. Each piece undergoes manual sandblasting and black PVD coating to develop a unique patina over time. C.P. Company introduces three new colors for its Nylon B overshirt—Total Eclipse, Malachite Green, and Deep Lavender—inspired by Officina Alessi work uniforms from 1983. Lorenzo Osti, director of C.P. Company, initially hesitated about partnering with the polished steel brand but was convinced after visiting Alessi's Omegna workshop. The collaboration reflects shared industrial heritage and experimental processes, drawing on Massimo Osti's design principles and Umberto Eco's 'Open Work' concept. A limited-edition set will be available at C.P. Company's Milan headquarters installation, 'Blend: The Kinetic Pulse of Italian Industrial Mastery,' from April 21-25, with products also sold online and at the showroom.
