Buildner Announces Museum of Emotions Edition 7 Winners, Edition 8 Open

Buildner has revealed the winners of its seventh edition of the Museum of Emotions Competition, an international contest that emphasizes the emotional influence of architecture. Contestants were tasked with creating conceptual museums featuring two exhibition spaces dedicated to positive and negative emotions. The top honor and Buildner Student Award were awarded to Minseok Choi and Jang Sieon from Sangmyung University, South Korea, for their design 'Nevertheless,' which includes a shattered Buddha. The second-place award went to Kaiwen Wei from the US for 'The Dark Side of the Moon,' while Ceyda Ilhan and Beyza Ilhan from Turkey secured third place with 'Big Reset.' Noteworthy entries came from Success Chiziterem Maduka, Aleksei Volkov, Chung-Yu Chen, Zeynep Nevbahar Bilgeman, Silvia Oana Cristea, and Adam Klobušník. The eighth edition is currently accepting submissions, offering a €10,000 prize, with a registration deadline of June 18, 2026.
