Broadway Musical 'Six' to Close in January 2027 After Five-Year Run
The popular musical 'Six' is set to end its Broadway engagement on January 3, 2027, after almost five years. It started previews at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre in February 2020, faced interruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and officially premiered on October 3, 2021. Created by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, 'Six' earned the 2022 Tony Award for best original score and recovered its $5 million investment by December 2022. Although attendance has waned, it remains the 40th longest-running production in Broadway's history. The musical has spawned international versions, including a West End production and tours in the U.K., Australia, and China, as well as a Spanish-language adaptation in Madrid.
