exhibition · 2026-08-26

This summer, contemporary art exhibitions are being showcased at Britain's grand estates, with a highlight being the 'White Cube at Claydon' exhibition in Buckinghamshire. This event features 47 artworks from 24 different artists, including Tracey Emin's neon creation 'I Loved You Until the Morning' (2025), which will be on view until 14 September 2026. Curated by Susanna Greeves, the exhibition also presents pieces from Gabriel Orozco, Cai Guo-Qiang, and more. Additional exhibitions include Phyllida Barlow at Wolterton and Nancy Holt at Goodwood. A report from November 2025 revealed a £2bn maintenance backlog for these stately homes, prompting Tanya Brittain of the National Trust to stress the importance of initiatives to draw visitors.
