Bridging the Gap Group Exhibition at Hypha South Bank Explores Connection and Repair

The group exhibition 'Bridging the Gap' at Hypha Gallery South Bank features over twenty artists using sculpture to examine themes of connection, separation, and repair. Curated by Paul Carey-Kent, Hermione Allsopp, and Poppy Whatmore, the show draws inspiration from the nearby Southwark Bridge as a metaphor for bridging divides. Artists employ locally sourced materials and respond to the urban environment, contrasting sleek architecture with street-level experiences. The exhibition runs from 26 June to 26 July 2026, with a private view on 25 June. Accompanying events include a poetry reading on 4 July and a finissage with performance and artist talks on 26 July.
