Bridget Currie's 'Anarchive' at Flinders University Museum of Art

Bridget Currie's exhibition 'Anarchive: knowledge follows form' at Flinders University Museum of Art (FUMA) runs from 27 April to 19 June 2026 in South Australia. Curated by Sasha Grbich, the show features new works that engage with FUMA's Post-object and Documentation Collection from the 1960s and '70s. Currie's practice resonates with earlier artists such as Dorothy Thompson and Bonita Ely, as well as contemporaries Alison Goodwin, Eva Man-Wah Yuen, and Poppy Johnson. Currie has developed strategies for 'unfolding' the collection, working with its ephemeral materials. The exhibition oscillates between past and present, tracing the residue of experimental art practice.
